What we collect through this website

Nothing. There is no form on this website, no sign-up, no account and no newsletter. We do not ask you for your name, your email address or anything else, and there is nowhere on the site to give it to us.

If you want to reach us, email aiehuntley@gmail.com or call (630) 664-2010. An email you send us is an ordinary email, held in our email account under Google’s terms, not in this website.

Donations

Our online donations run on Masjidal’s donation platform, and card payments are processed by Stripe.

• Your card details go to Stripe. Neither Masjidal nor the masjid receives, processes or stores your card number.
• You can give anonymously. If you choose to donate anonymously, we receive no personal information about you.
• If you choose to give your details, we receive what you enter: your name, email address and phone number, and occasionally your postal address. We use these to acknowledge your donation and to provide donation receipts and statements. We do not sell them or share them with anyone else.
• Masjidal’s policies. How Masjidal handles personal information is set out in its Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Masjidal states that it does not sell your data, and questions about its handling can be sent to info@masjidal.com. Stripe’s handling of payment information is described in Stripe’s Privacy Policy.

Prayer times

The prayer timetable on this site is provided by Masjidal. When your browser loads it, Masjidal receives the basic technical information any website receives, such as your IP address.

What we do not do

• We use no analytics, no advertising tags and no tracking pixels on this website.
• We do not sell, rent or share information about you with anyone.
• We do not build a profile of you or track you between sites.
• We do not set tracking cookies.

Cookies and browser storage

This website sets no tracking cookies. It may store one or two small values in your own browser, such as a note that you have dismissed a notice so it is not shown to you again. These stay on your device and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

A sign-in cookie exists for the one administrator account that edits this site. It has nothing to do with visitors. Masjidal’s own sites set their own cookies, as described in Masjidal’s Privacy Policy.

Other services that see your visit

When your browser loads parts of the site provided by others, it reveals your IP address and basic technical information to them, as it does with any website. We cannot make promises about what happens inside someone else’s service.

• Masjidal — prayer times and our donation platform
• Stripe — processes donation card payments
• Vercel — hosts the website
• Supabase — stores the site’s content, such as page text and photographs
• Google Fonts — the typefaces the site is set in
• Google Maps — the map on the Contact page

Your choices

To ask what donor details we hold about you, or to have them corrected or removed, email areeb.qureshi@masjidal.com  Questions about information held by Masjidal can be sent to the same address.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top.
